Meet Your Mediator
A neutral, compassionate guide committed to helping every family find a respectful path forward.
Georgia Registered Domestic Relations Mediator
Originally from Buffalo, New York, Shirley F. Rogers began her legal career by earning her paralegal certification before relocating to the Atlanta metro area. She went on to earn a Master of the Study of Law (MSL) degree from the University of Georgia School of Law, a credential that reflects her deep commitment to understanding the law and how it shapes the lives of the families she serves. She is a Georgia Registered Domestic Relations Mediator, trained through an approved Georgia Office of Dispute Resolution Georgia mediation training program.
For over 20 years, Shirley has worked as a family law paralegal for various firms throughout the metro Atlanta area, building an intimate understanding of the emotional, financial, and legal complexities that families face when relationships change. That two-decade foundation is directly contributory to her insight as a mediator. She has seen firsthand how litigation can deepen conflict rather than resolve it, and why so many families benefit from a more collaborative path. She founded Let's Straighten It Out Conflict Resolution Services, LLC out of a genuine belief that every family deserves a calmer, more dignified way forward.
Shirley's approach is rooted in compassion, neutrality, and respect. She is deeply committed to inclusive practice and welcomes all family structures, including traditional, blended, multigenerational, and same-sex unions, with equal care and professionalism. In her sessions, every person is seen, every voice is heard, and every family is honored exactly as they are.
